Tradition that leads to success

After our sport took most of the natural movement away from the horses we are the ones who need to take care they have everything what they need. We still follow the most natural way possbile to produce great horses.

Our horses stay in the big boxes, most of them are staying on straw. For sure some of you already heard that horses eat 18 hours a day. Horses staying on straw have enough to chew and eat over the whole day. The ones staying on shawings need to get hay 3 times per day for us to avoid any stomach complications.

Since the day we started having horses we are staying loyal to producing our eco friendly hay and straw. A lot of natural vitamines and minerals come from high quality grass. Producing your own feed is important because you know exactly with what your hoses are being feed with.

There always comes a question what is better… Hay or Haylage. We personally, feed both. Haylage is grass dried to 60-70% and stored in plastic wrap to keep the moisture. This is also a natural way to help horses with breathing difficulties before they need any strong medicine.

Young horses are enjoying while playing in the big pastures.

Quality of the steps

As we all know over the last few decades many things in equestrian sport took turn into professional direction. One of the most important is for sure having a quality ground in your arenas. Many things depends on it… For example with a good ground you can avoid many injuries. Horses need to move on different grounds to harden the tendoms and improve joint flexibity.

We strive to keep our arenas on high quality range and always keep the perfect amount of moisture. Finding a way to keep them nice is a long process but in the end is totally worth it.

One of our latest project is making a new grass arena with a derby hill on the side. Few of the worlds biggest competitions in showjumping are held on grass. Having a possibility to have this at home is a great step into the quality produce of show horses.
